Put a tablet or an old PC in the kitchen, open the OrdraFood kitchen screen, go full screen. Every online order lands within a second with a bell, moves from column to column with one gesture, and shows its timer against the time promised to the customer. Nothing to install, included in every plan.
The screen shows today's orders in three columns: To prepare, In progress, Ready. Inside each column, cards are sorted by service time: the pickup or delivery time chosen by the customer, otherwise the time the order was placed. What has to go out first is always at the top.
Each card shows the order number in very large type, the mode (pickup, delivery, dine-in), the customer's name, the items with quantities, variations, extras and notes, and the order note if any. The cook moves the card forward with a big button, or grabs it and drags it into the next column, with a finger or a mouse. From the Ready column, dragging down marks the order handed over or delivered.
⏱️ Each card's timer is based on the preparation time you promised the customer when they ordered. The bar fills up, the border changes colour as the deadline approaches, then when it is late. One glance tells you where the service stands.
The order shows up within a second, with a bell. If the live link drops, the screen refreshes itself every 15 seconds and an amber dot warns you.
Tapping a line marks it ready, one unit at a time when there are several. The line shrinks so what is left to cook stands out.
Six sounds with preview, one button to mute everything. A discreet reminder every 30 seconds while an order has been waiting more than a minute without being started.
Elapsed time, "right on time" or minutes late, computed from the delay announced to the customer. Pre-orders show their scheduled time and wait their turn without stressing the team.
Dark theme for a dim kitchen, light theme for a bright counter. Full screen with one button, and the screen stays awake while the page is shown.
A status changed in the kitchen is seen at the counter, in the admin and in the mobile app. The customer also follows progress on their order page.
The kitchen screen only shows what has to be produced today. Decisions stay with front of house: if manual acceptance is enabled, orders waiting for approval are counted at the top of the screen with a link to the live order view, where you accept, delay or refuse while promising the customer a time. Pre-orders for another day are counted separately and never clutter the columns.
The screen adds to what you already use: the printed ticket can keep coming out for the counter, the mobile app keeps ringing in the owner's pocket, and the OrdraPOS till takes payments at the counter from the same menu.
💡 No dedicated hardware to buy: a €150 tablet or the PC that was gathering dust in the office is enough. A browser, your OrdraFood account, the full-screen button. All of it included in the free Starter plan.
A screen in the kitchen, usually a tablet or an old PC, that shows live orders instead of paper tickets: what is waiting, what is being cooked, what is ready. OrdraFood's kitchen display is a full-screen view of your restaurant account, included in every plan.
Anything with a recent browser: an Android tablet or iPad, a PC or Mac, a mini PC plugged into a TV. Nothing to install. Open your OrdraFood account, open the kitchen screen, switch to full screen. The screen stays awake while the page is shown.
Yes. The screen is connected live to your account: a confirmed order appears within a second, with a bell. If the live connection drops, the screen refreshes itself every 15 seconds and an amber dot tells you so, so no order is ever missed.
One big button per card: Start, then Ready, then Handed over or Delivered. Or grab the card and drag it into the next column, with a finger or a mouse. Going back is possible too. Every change updates the order for the whole team, in the admin and in the mobile app.
Yes. Tapping a line marks it ready; with several units, each tap ticks one (2/3 ready). A ticked line shrinks so that what is left to do stands out from two metres away. Those ticks stay on the device and do not change the order itself.
Each card carries a timer and a progress bar based on the preparation time promised to the customer. The border changes colour as the deadline approaches, then when it is late. While an order has not been started after one minute, a discreet reminder rings every 30 seconds if you leave it on.
The kitchen screen only shows today's work. If manual acceptance is enabled, orders waiting for approval are counted at the top with a link to the live order view, where front of house decides. Pre-orders for another day are counted separately and do not clutter the columns.
Yes: six sounds (pass bell, chime, alarm, buzzer, beeps, gong) with preview, a mute button, and a light or dark theme depending on the kitchen lighting. Settings are remembered per device.
It can, or both can coexist. Many kitchens keep the printed ticket stapled to the bag for the counter and follow production on the screen. Automatic printing remains available through the OrdraFood Android app.
